Love him or hate him, it's his last hurrah presenting Newsnight after 25 years tonight
I for one will miss him

I love him personally. Not always perfect and at times i disagree with him but he is always honest and always pushes politicians all the way and makes them crap themselves. A shame he is leaving

One of the great broadcasters. Has that sense of authority and presence on Newsnight that will be hard to replace. Won't be watching it as more I don't think.

.....as a serious journalist I'm sure Paxman would concentrate on the possible abduction/murder of a child by paedophiles than anything else.
