the best job for Tis (as others have already said) would be with one of England's age groups. Aidy Boothroyd's job (England U20?) became available this summer

(incidentally MT would be well suited too, having developed City youngsters such as Collins,Randall,Key, Hartridge into established first teamers)

So Walsall now off the 'available' list. You can write off Swindon due to being a basket case of a club so that leaves Tiz between Orient and FGR. The commute to Forest Green is so much more appealing and I cant see PT wanting to uproot so I'm putting the house on him being unveiled the day after they lose the 2nd leg of the play off to Newport
Although if FGR were to go up, you'd have to think Jimmy Ball would be a shoe-in for the job.

Why would England want to employ a failed lower league manager?

Appreciate this may have been intended as a rhetorical question, but...

Well, they've had a former City manager with no promotions on his CV...

Paul Tisdale has his ‘At The Core’ business in Bath and probably sees growth in the consultancy business like he was doing at Colchester. Pondering the deeper meaning of football and offering words of wisdom will be right up his street and plus it’s only advice and he won’t be making the final decision. There’s probably sympathy for him after Rovers, where he had the rug pulled from under him and Colchester survived to fight another day. Still plenty of mileage in The Tisdale Way……

Wonder what Oakley is upto these days ? Perhaps he is busy looking after his South American Red-bellied Pirhana (if Wikipedia is to be believed) ?

Since you ask, it would seem he's just been made bankrupt:

Sadly, I think he invested heavily in one of those film production tax avoidance schemes HMRC retrospectively cracked down on.

I seem to recall that was "hanging over his head" whilst he was with us. I had heard nothing about him since Tis was shown the door at MKD, hence my question.
