Exeweb Rail travel HQ or so it seems!!
Just a heads up for any City fans going to Mansfield tomorrow. In the 9th minute we plan to sing and have a minutes applause for Stanno, as if we need little reminding, it's 3 years ago tomorrow that he died.

The giant Stanno shirt will also be draped over a block of seats in the away end too. So even if you aren't a regular singer then can I at least ask you join with applause and if Mansfield fans wish to join in then so be it.

RIP Stanno

I'll give it a mention on TFF where Mansfield fans can see it.

3 years and still there is no one who has replaced Stanno's work rate and the effect it had on the team. A genuine City legend! Gone but not forgotten.

Amen to that Fanny. 3 years as flown by but what everyone would give to see him running around in the red & white again. Sing his name loud and proud people.

RIP Stanno.

Another hat-trick of tries for the boy!

Yes, echo all those comments.

Stanno played with pride and knew what it meant to put the red and white stripes on.

Keeping the faith.
Echo all the above.
He WANTED to come to our club and loved all that ECFC stood for.
I remember too how he was slagged off on these pages.

RIP Stanno, City Legend never to be forgotten
So wish I was going now.

Unfortunately, I can't make it.

Think I'll just have a minutes applause to myself wherever I am at 3:09pm.

Let's hope it's not in the middle of Homebase....................(I'll still do it though).

Hi Guys,

Stags fan here.
Word has got out about this and it has been posted on our website Stagsnet
Expect quite a few to join in, but try and let people know around the ground so they know what it's about.

Safe journey's all - enjoy your day (though not too much eh!! ;)

Plenty of places to drink around the ground for those that are coming. Try the Talbot on Nottingham Road, opposite Sainsbury and Aldi, or you might want to try the Railway for good selection of bitters (will get busy in here though and isn't the biggest of places).
