This is the written piece, which seems to have a bit more in it than the YouTube interview. And lots of pics of Oliie too, if that's your thing!

Very little service and lean pickings for Ollie tonight in the first half v Brighton.

just thinking the same thing for a few games now Villa have failed to dominate play at anytime. The result being Ollie is feeding off scraps and having to chase and work very hard to get any time on the ball.

and got clogged early on, limping for a bit. I thought this hindered him a bit. But still played the full 94 minutes as usual.

Barkley, Grealish and Traore are all luxury midfielders who aren't up for a fight. McGinn is a bit more of a battler and will have a scrap against some of the more physical sides, but he's been playing badly recently. They need to sort out their midfield if they want to get into the European spots.

And get one of them to play closer to Watkins. Crying out for a diamond midfield. Barkley is the luxury player here, I fear.

Grealish is more up for the fight than any player in that dressing room. The boy is Villa 'til he dies and will walk through hell and high water to make sure Villa succeed. Just because he is an inventive ball player does not mean he isn't up for the fight.

I concur. He's one of those players that you wonder what exactly it is that he does.

And just happens to be, Along with Zaha the most fouled player in the PL, Opposition players know what a good player he is and there answer is to hack him down.
