Indeed. The big difference this year is that Premiership clubs can buy Championship players (long) after the season has started. Three weeks into the season much will have changed so even if Ollie hasn’t moved by then there will be a few desperate Premiership managers whose teams have started badly and struggled to score...

I'm starting to think that the fee will be around 20m but that Brentford will get a good sell-on clause

Being linked with Spurs now. Wouldn't it be quicker to determine who he hasn't been linked with?

plymouth argyle aren’t interested. They reckon most of his goals are miskicks...

Must be hard for them to take never producing a quality player and watching Amps, Watkins, Grimes, Chrisene and Jay Stansfield earning us good money and giving our academy such a good reputation. There's more in the pipeline, too.
Clearly we are a better club.

If Daniel Levy is on the scene negotiations will go to the wire and the price will be squeezed.

it will be £25 million plus add ons IM. The club planned for this he was given a new contract last year, 4 years plus an option for an additional year.

I know it's stating the obvious, but we languish a league below...so your logic probably doesn't stand scrutiny at the moment
