I just hope whatever happens to Ollie it's not what happened to Stockeys doppelganger, Sam Cosgrove. He turns down a £3 million move during the close season and then does his cruciate in training three days before the start of the season.
Very unlucky although thankfully a cruciate injury is no longer a career ending injury.

Really enough with the nicey nicey stuff, we need the cash, particularly now - it would set us up for years. Who cares about Brentford, another ££ story with a slightly different approach to Bournemouth, its no fairytale.

Was disappointed to see them qualify for the final, I hope Fulham beat them but Brentford are the better side so it's unlikely.
I have a feeling that come Tuesday evening you are going to be even more disappointed. 🐝🐝🐝

T’would be great. But unrealistic methinks.First, Jordan is on Championship wages.

yes he slipped back to fourth choice centre half at Preston for long spells last season, which meant that if everyone was fit he didn’t even make the 18 - and they talked about him possibly going out on loan. But he played a bit toward the end of the season. They also used three centre halves for some games.

in this transfer window two of Preston’s CBs might leave. One is highly rated and may head upwards. Another is ageing and may be moved on. There will also be three games a week for quite a while. Fans still rate him, so ‘watch this space’ and he may get much more game time.

Edit. PS - oops.this should be on the transfer rumour thread, not OW! Awaits slap on wrist!

You might need to borrow FBH's tin hat, or Indo's crash helmet, as going by Lego's experience the current weapon of choice for "Management" is a sledgehammer ! :(

The best outcome for us is that Brentford go up and Ollie is sold in January. I believe we have a promotion bonus due if they go up. No idea how much though.

They aren't going to sell him in January. If he and Brentford do well they'll wait until the summer to sell him or more realistically they'll need him to help avoid the drop.
