We did, but had no centre backs on the bench. When Grounds went down injured it was a worrying time. As I read MT's interview Stubbs and Hartridge would not be available tomorrow.

I think from now on we have to assume that Stubbs will not be available on a regular basis. It's a pity, but an opportunity for Check to gain a lot of experience

It's perfectly good English (UK) usage, especially for use with the passing of sovereignty. It's a 15th century word.

I think the EFL will want games to go ahead this weekend but maybe concerned with Police Numbers (especially in the London area)? I wonder if they will allow games outside of Greater London to go ahead.
