Never reached the fame of Sergeant Pepper who I believe went on to form a 'Lonely Hearts Club Band'- but i maybe wrong

I remember a Sgt Pepper who did karaoke at The Platform One(Station Pub) in the mid 90s,a lad from Crediton.
Jeeze they were mad nights looking back,every misfit in Exeter was in there on a Monday evening

My sauces suggest he patented a valuable brand name and invented fizzy drinks.

He always had a can of Dr Peppers on the shelf in his surgery.

I had my wedding reception in the Merry Monk.
M i Law played darts for the team so we had a bit of discount ...The days when receptions were cheap & cheerful.

The occasion was the 4th round League Cup game at Anfield,Oct 1979.

Indeed..Kenny Dalglish was in his prime,one of the best strikers in Europe,Tony Mitchell hardly gave him a kick.The legendary Bill Shankly praised the tenacious performance.They all did the club proud that night against the reigning league champions.
Dick Forbes also played & like Tony Mitchell was at St Luke’s College.
