Never reached the fame of Sergeant Pepper who I believe went on to form a 'Lonely Hearts Club Band'- but i maybe wrong
I remember a Sgt Pepper who did karaoke at The Platform One(Station Pub) in the mid 90s,a lad from Crediton.
Jeeze they were mad nights looking back, every misfit in Exeter was in there on a Monday evening 😁😁🤣🤣

Remember the night well. Tony Mitchell had a great game.
Indeed..Kenny Dalglish was in his prime, one of the best strikers in Europe,Tony Mitchell hardly gave him a kick. The legendary Bill Shankly praised the tenacious performance. They all did the club proud that night against the reigning league champions.
Dick Forbes also played & like Tony Mitchell was at St Luke’s College.
