From March 1977..Loan signing Geoff Gay from Bolton a defender ends up playing in goal.
This game was also Lee Roberts debut(as sub) A crazy baptism as he later recounted.

Love the travel section in the programme.In those days FL
clubs ran travel to England games & were allocated tickets..£25 to Luxembourg on a coach from Exeter ..I booked but had to ask my parents for the cash being 16 & about to start college,with there being a load of aggro at England games my parents would not give me the money to go,so I had to cancel
Wise move as it turned out
