It would give us 23 points from 15 games at just over 1.5 points a game..in (or just outside) the 'playoff mix'.

You generally need 1.8 point per game over the season for automatic promotion (1.8 x 46 = 83 points). Occasionally even that isn't enough - Accrington lost out in the playoffs with 85 points in 2015/16.

It doesn't matter when you get the points, of course, and teams often get across the line through a strong late run. At the moment we are 2-3 points behind, though as others have pointed out that is partly from the mix of games - long away trips, playing the better sides etc.

A win on Saturday would get us nearer the curve, but IMO we need 12 points from the 6 October games or we will likely fall further behind. Not necessarily a major problem, but obviously better to have the points on the board.
