Patricia Brake, Actress in many TV show's in the 70's and had a 60 year career, Was in Corrie, Eastenders, Emmerdale but best known for playing Ronnie Barker's daughter Ingrid in Porridge and Going Straight dies aged 79. RIP

Lester Piggott was a great jockey; maybe the best flat race jockey ever. He won races that no other jockey would have won. He could be very hard on a horse though and would not get away with this type of riding in today’s world.

He was however a notoriously mean man and when a jockey was killed in the 1960’s he was bottom on the list of donations from other jockeys at £5. It has also been been suggested he accepted a year in jail to avoid paying the financial penalties that the Inland Revenue were prepared to accept.

RIP
Lester Piggott was one of heroes; was lucky enough to meet him at Ascot a few years ago.
