That is what's lacking nowadays, Real family entertainment that all generations can watch together. Mike Yarwood was part of that great BBC talent stable that was unrivalled in the 60's/70's.
Where are those good old fashioned values
On which we used to rely?

Don't think it was posted last week, but Gary Wright died aged 80.

Musician, member of the band Spooky Tooth, and writer of the classic song Dream Weaver.

My favourite Roger Whittaker song was The Last Farewell .
I believe he was born in Kenya and was on the radio a lot in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s .

Jan Jongbloed, Holland World Cup goalie in losing 1974 and 1978 finals, part of their Total Football an early goalie playing out from the back, good with his feet, Johan Cruyff wanted him in the team.
Died aged 82, end August, announced recently.
I loved watching that team...Many in England followed them after England’s non qualification in the ‘74 & ‘78 World Cups.
