Sad news. Morgan. A suitable case for treatment.

Was simply brilliant in The Omen. What a scary film that was.

Aye.

Very good as the odious Spicer Lovejoy in the dreadfully cheesy film Titanic (1997)

Also recall him as the MCP/Sark/Ed Dillinger in Tron and Sir Edward Appleton in the 1978 version of The Thirty Nine Steps

RIP

He was one of those actors that you knew, Played characters really well but never seem to get the recognition he deserved.

Prolific list of parts on IMDb but as you say didn’t really get full recognition.

A politician who set aside hard line Ulster Unionist principles and who was prepared to compromise to find a solution to the problems of NI. His leadership played a huge part in the conclusion of the GFA. He was prepared to talk with Sinn Fein while refusing to speak directly to the odious Gerry Adams.

Much deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with John Hume.

His compromises unfortunately led to his defeat at the hands of a DUP candidate in the 2005 GE.

History will remember him as a statesman.

RIP
