HaHa what an awful thread! Eighth best since 1908? and that is from one of his biggest supporters:)

Arsenal were always going to come back once it went to two one despite them being a shadow of Wengers previous sides, but if Tisdale became the longest serving manager it would just make us the club with the least ambition for sticking with him.

You've lost me. Granted, that's not terribly difficult. I didn't think 8th out of 37 or thereabouts was too bad given the last season or two. Plenty of time for him to move up the table ...

Yep puts him in the top quarter and I guess his first five years would see him far higher than that, but I would be more concerned where his last three seasons would put him.
