We needed someone actually running at their defence which is what Richardson briefly offered. Shame it took so long for Matty to notice. They were comfortable all afternoon because we played in front of them all the time. Rarely got in behind or gave them anything to think about. Anyway, a very winnable game v Crawley on Saturday who along with Stevenage have only won once away all season.
I will say Crawley have been grinding out a few results of late. Hopefully were on the right side of them Saturday.

Apart from the sarcastic comment at the end of your post, I detect you're coming around to the suggestion that that was a clear cut penalty? Quite right, Good chap.

Lots of possession first half without doing a thing with it.....Northampton didn’t really offer very much more either after the opening 54 seconds....until Jayden Richardson came on I can’t remember a City player actually going past a Northampton defender with the ball and with any sort of purpose....we are still in a good position but from what I saw today we desperately need to bring some experience back into the side....out would go Collins for Jake 100% that one, Jay for Law another dead cert to start next week and also 100% Moxey in for Dickenson MJ has been superb the last few weeks but things are getting serious now so Law has to come back in.

Said it before ... Taylor and Law in,MJ and Collins out, get some experience in the side, ‘one of our own’ is just pathetic. Play your best available side. Deano should be in too - no leadership today on the pitch, absolutely gutless, no direction.
Collins came on against Portsmouth - watch the 2nd goal, why oh why is he the deepest defender, he should have been closing down the shot.
MT seems to love the guy but he has been so average for a number of weeks. Bench him.

Actual evidence is inadmissible in this case...oh wait, sorry, that's impeachment isn't it.

Is the camel that giant straw like thing that you could see from the M5?
The "Willow Man" was commissioned from a local artist to celebrate the traditional importance of willow and wickerwork to the Somerset Levels at the Millennium. The camel was sited on the same side of the M5 but probably a 1000 yds closer to Exeter in a farmyard. The fields have since been developed into a new housing estate, and the farm building and camel disappeared.

We have these days when we just seem totally flat. Difficult to grasp why. Like the players are in a dream.

City are good until they get to the final third. Then the delivery into the box is poor. The vast majority of corners, for example, didn't clear the first defender. And this has been a problem for the last 3-4 games.

On reflection the change that should have been made was ajose off and Taylor on with jay behind bowman to strengthen the midfield.

The camel had a smaller baby camel next to it for a while too.

Oh and I understood it was the Whicker Man.
