We gave up due to lack of support from others, Time and money commitment, and towards the end policing and heavy stewarding on us.

Something may start up again in the future but for now its all down the drain.
The thought of "policing and heavy stewarding" on a bunch of 14-15 year olds in their chinos does make me chuckle to be honest.

But fair play to you Max for giving it a go. I feel your 'experiment' may have worked better had you tried with adults instead of kids mind.

Take no notice of Moxey, Max etc... He is by far the most obnoxious bugger in the history of exeweb. I'm advised he sits in the Flybe on the half way line, with a snobbish face on him like he's got a bad smell under his nose. He didnt post on here for months, and my hope was he'd defected and buggered off to support the Chiefs; since he's worth a bob or two. Unfortunately he crops up on here now when you least expect it to criticise somebody, or something. He's probably worked up at the moment because Rightwing referred to his motor as a "kit car" on another thread!

From an outsiders perspective i.e. a visiting fan, I was totally shocked at the lack of atmosphere from the home fans on Saturday. Given you've got that great big bank on which to stand, it was deathly silent for most of the afternoon. I know people have said we were loud and it certainly sounded it within the throng but I've always found that uncovered terracing/seating doesn't allow the sound to travel so we must have been doing something right.

Thanks for the hospitality from fans and club on the weekend (as well as the staff in The Wells Tavern) - shame about the ridiculous level of policing. One thing I'd say though - whoever put the poster up at the entrance to the away terrace welcoming us to the ground and thanking us for travelling 163 miles to support our team obviously didn't check to see where Newport is!! :)

We'll outsing you away I'd imagine, should be a good following.

Decent noise from you lot, pleased to have you in the league, another local-ish game is always welcome and you're a proper club.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
I think it was stated as well by max that the flags made by the group are available for use somewhere at the club which I think is what the money was spent on. reflecting on the dates the group was running it is a bit unfortunate that it coincided with poor home results and performances in general. appreciate it originally started because we had had an awful start to our relegation season, but had it been running when things were going well I am sure it would have been supported far more and therefore not fizzled out.

hope we can create a good atmosphere against argyle as that is the perfect game to get a good win and performance to boost everyone to encourage the extras to come back for the likes of Hartlepool and burton later in the month.

Hanging up the boots.
Sorry lads but I wasn't there. I don't claim to make a good atmosphere but I usually start 5-10 chants a game so if that isn't happening and there is no siege, who is going to do it?

Maybe they did & that's the round trip mileage?
