I've got to the stage where I'm looking at the season as if this is what we've got, if we bring anyone in it's a bonus but I'm expecting nothing.

The sad thing about that if true , is that we have to break up the rhythm of a successful team just to make a couple or three unproven signings.Still , that’s the nature of the beast I guess.

It’s when Hants adds ‘ Or next week sometime’ to the thread title we’ve got to be worried. Some unsuspecting day we’ll wake up to find we’ve signed some thirty five year old journeyman centre forward who‘s looking to top up his pension fund , and wonder why we bothered waiting.
