Under contract, why would we not retain him. If we'd put him on the transfer list the fans would be in uproar.

I'd be surprised if he starts the season with us. He's got another year on his contract but I cant imagine that he will sign a contract extension. On that basis, and in order for the Club to maximise its transfer income, they'll have to look to sell in the close season, or else risk losing him on a free at the end of 2023/24 season.

I'd be gutted if we sold him, not ruling it out though.
