There are several others too, Guns N Roses for example. The give away was U2 in 10th position and Frankie Valli in 12th !
Anyway off to the Old Fire House in a while for some live ska !
Madness ?

12 clues to the 12 months of the year.
11 clues, which I thought might have thrown you off the scent... no such luck.

I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes, but as it’s unlikely I’ll win another music quiz anytime soon, I have one I’ve almost finished working up that I can put on here to tide things over for a bit.
I’ll wait to see what the response is from some of the regulars before I do anything.
If I get the green light it’ll take me a couple of days to tidy it up.

Sorry, seems that I sort of fluked the answer with a short cut ! Once that I saw "October" - missing answer - "December 1963" I didn't look at the rest in detail and didn't bother to even count the clues, just assumed there were 12 !

Fine by me Bridgy, I haven't got any question "up my sleeve" and have got a pretty hectic few days ahead of me, so "fill yer boots" with my blessings ! :)

Ok then. Here it is.
14 (mostly) ECFC related questions with a specific musical theme for the answers.
1 point per answer, so 14 to play for.
Let me know which number question you’re answering.
If there’s a draw at the end I’ll set a tiebreaker.

1. Two words which perhaps describe a traditional rival of ECFC.
2. An idea that Maxted and Croll came up with.
3. Goalkeeper Jeffrey in 1984 or a ‘singular’ Gary now. You choose.
4. Nowadays a way of obtaining an app to find out our score if you can’t be there in person.
5. An older fashioned way to find out our score if you can’t be there in person.
6. What we always hope City are at around 4.50pm on Saturday afternoons.
7. A current City player living by himself on Steep Holm (or somewhere similar).
8. A former opponent of our reserves in Western League days, where Iron Age Grecians would have needed a boat to get to.
9/10. This ex City champion should (managerially) take you to this double header.
11. 26 3 23*
* This is the non ECFC related question by the way.
12. 50 73076
13. Cambridge Utd 0 City 1, Rotherham Utd 0 City 1, City 2 Barrow 1.
14. What certain people on Exeweb seem to think they are.
