One thing about Harry's game that will stand him in good stead as a goalkeeper in the modern game is that he was very comfortable with the ball at his feet and generally looks to have good temperament.

As for the goal, from the 360 screen grab below, you can see he kept his eyes on the ball. His head movement came as he kept watching the ball a it went past him. His positioning in the first place could have been better as could the timing of "making himself big". Pete's old laying in front the striker like a draught excluder is a bit old hat technique now for goalkeepers.

That's nonsense Bry. He looked right and the ball went to his left inside the near post so unless you know something about him having eyes in the back of his head..............

It was more referring to the comments he wasn't looking as the shot was taken, the picture shows he was. He only looked away behind him when the ball went past him and no amount of looking to his left when he was falling away to his right would have helped him make a save.

I think its fairly safe to say that Lee wasnt looking when the shot was taken. Had he done so, there was a chance of him getting the ball full in the face! At the point of contact, not many keepers are looking, no matter what level they're playing at, or no matter how they've decided to try and stop the ball. They are going to ground with their teeth clenched, their eyes closed, and hoping upon hope they wont get it in the nackers! DeGea in particular runs a risk of getting it in the gonads with the Starfish thing he does! Sadly, not many keepers have the guts to try and stop the ball the proper way anymore.

He should have come our earlier and made himself big, not sure what this looking at the ball is all about

It stood out because it was a bit of keeping that looked way below our level - the rest of the time he was very solid. He’s a 16 year old youngmannotkid so plenty of time to grow into it

As somebody else said Max, at 16, he's had plenty of time to grow into the "off of his line" aspect of his game by now. He plainly hasnt, so the GK coach needs to concentrate on that aspect of his game, assuming the coach (whoever he is) see's the error that everyone else is picking up on.

Scott Brown is the coach. There is also a match analyst.

Not everyone else Pete!

I'm pretty sure Scott Brown is more qualified than you to coach him, you've watched clips of one match (his debut) and picked up on one thing that 'you think' is an error (but haven't mentioned the defending)! Think I've only ever seen negative posts on here from you!

Haven't we talked about this long enough? He's 16 and still learning ... leave it at that! I, for one, am getting bored.

Someone, I think it was Rosen, mentioned Harry's game? Cue Clannad.
