Swindon - unfortunately
Not a very positive message from Gilly at all. Hope he stays as he is a class player at this level and will thrive in L1 next year. We really do need players of his calibre to stay

Gilly HAS to stay. Like Mr Bridger says " he makes the team tick "
Him staying is our main priority this pre-season.

I think he'll go unfortunately.

Here and there
Typical journo makeweight piece if you ask me.

There are hundreds of out of contract players talking to their managers right now. So what?

I still think Gilly will stay but if he does go...nobody is indispensible. Tis has already proved that.

I've just read it and it doesn't sound half as bad as you're making out.

"Hopefully I will be a league 1 player next season,"

So why does that mean he's leaving?

Actually think he's been quite clever as he can ask for more money now we're up, whereas to sign before would have just been a standard cost of living rise.

Because if Torquay get promoted, he will join them istead of signing a contract with us...
