I know Mansfield are on a good run, but interesting they have nine away and only six home games remaining, four of these against teams in top five, plus a poor record away vs top half teams could see then struggle to maintain their good form, hopefully starting tonight.

Still don't get this obsession with current league position, it only matters on the last day. Currently, taking unplayed matches into consideration we are second in my mind. Just got to on picking up points. A draw would suit me tonight, we'd still have promotion in our own hands. Think we'll win though! 😎
So you wouldn't bat an eyelid if you were 18th at this point of the season?

The league table is important always. The higher you are up the league then the more points you have compared to others. This is not a 1500m race where you can conserve energy until near the end and then start gaining 5 points for a win in April.

Whilst there is always exceptions, in most cases the teams that get promoted are nearly always up near the top for most of the season

For anyone who is there tonight, just keep your eyes open. Mansfield are a horrible bunch of scroats with a massive chip on their shoulders wanting to prove something despite being surrounded on all sides by bigger clubs. And Stephen Quinn is just as bad on the pitch

Two in form teams, would be happy with a point on the road tonight. Swindon trek up to Yorkshire tomorrow before heading south to SJP on Tuesday, and with less travelling and an extra day's recovery, hoping it'll pay dividends for us. Important few days ahead, geddon City.

Saw the Swindon team coach on our way to Mansfield.

Some street parking on Nottingham Road and some side streets off it.
