Quite like him as a manager, He did an OK at WBA and glad he's still managing, Losing that job at a club he loved might have really got to him, Good luck though, Bit of a basket case at Sheff Weds.
I thought exactly the same regards to his tenure at WBA, did a really good job there.

im quite surprised Doncaster let him go, given how well they are doing this season and their league position etc and not only that but to local rivals in Sheffield weds too. Both clubs could quite well be swapping leagues over the summer.

Paul Lambert has left Ipswich Town by mutual consent
Mick McCarthy was spot on a few years back when he was hounded out, and said to Town fans "careful what you wish for'. They'd had a bad run but were solid mid-table Championship side year in year out. Now they are amongst a fester trying to get out of L1.

Lambert was never going to be accepted there with his Norwich history.
