Dino mamria named as new Burton boss, wasn’t he part of westleys back room team at stevenage ?
Yes, and was manager in his own right there a few years back. Think he may have lasted more than a season which is a long spell there these days.

It does seem to be a pattern with Tuchel though. Very good coach, very difficult person for owners and possibly players. The Abramovich situation clouded what was going on at Chelsea last season in terms of players leaving on a free and seemingly wanting moves away.

Does seem typically barmy timing though right after the transfer window closes and spending a packet.

That Aubameyang move looks sensible now...

The basic issue at Chelsea, which no-one at the club wants to admit, is that unless the new owner is prepared to write-off similar amounts of money to the previous owner it is going to be very, very difficult if not impossible for them to continue being a top 4 club.

True, because I thought a large part of the rationale behind his signing, other than Chelsea being desperate for a striker, was his apparently good relationship with Tuchel after their time together at Dortmund.
So the day after Aubameyang’s debut they sack Tuchel (which if you believe some reports) had been brewing for awhile and maybe even before the signing.
I hope for their sake Tuchel’s successor can get a tune out of him, otherwise it’s likely to be yet another very expensive mistake by them.
But to be honest I don’t really care either way provided they‘ve still got enough money to pay us the Ampadu add ons in due course.
