I’m a great believer in everyone over 40 on a bike wearing Lycra (no matter what shape and size you are). I think the Government should encourage that too. There should be a subsidy for getting the UK back into Lycra. You can’t beat getting a sweat on in Lycra, on a hot day, after 1/2 a mile of cycling.
Bring on the wall !

I'd have thought he'd be able to afford a detached. Especially in Yorkshire.

Cycle tonight to East-the-Water, Eastleigh, Holmacott, Instow and back. Very hot and sweaty and hilly and tiring. Apart from that was a perfect bike ride. Couple of shots looking down to Instow and across to Appledore and beyond (Mordor, I think).

Walk with my BiL tonight. He’s 10 years younger, Army and very fit. I struggled a bit with talking on up-hills tonight but views were worth it. Bishop’s Tawton to Landkey via the Macmillan Way/Tarka Trail then up to Codden Beacon. Views from the top are amazing. North to Exmoor and South to Dartmoor, and of course West to the coast.
