Whereabouts? The current ground will always have a place in my memories as that is where I made my debut in mens football playing for Crediton 3rds. I came off the bench midway through the first half and scored the winner in a 1-0 win.
Crediton 3rds !!

You must have been talented !!

Not local to most of you, but the Bauys season gets underway on Sunday with a tough cup group match against Rangers.

We're down to 9 teams in our league, and therefore one division, which will probably mean a few mismatches.

In dreadful conditions we drew 4-4 with Exeter Uni today......

2-0 up and 4-2 up so fair to say a grumpy manager tonight

Not local to any of you, but FC Hard recorded an away win at top-of-the-table FC Engstringen 3rd team, to climb away from the foot of the table in the basement league of the Swiss pyramid. By way of illustration of how seriously the football pyramid is taken over here, this is the equivalent of a Sunday league team in the UK - there is a website with a live ticker - http://www.fvrz.ch/Fussballverband-Region-Zuerich/Vereine-FVRZ/Verein-FVRZ.aspx/v-1607/t-39219/sg-48618/ls-16361/tg-2904964/ - in the home of FIFA, when they say it has to apply all the way down to the grassroots, they really mean it.

Could be an appropriate name for a good many UK Sunday League teams too ! ;)

Well whaddaya know, with a few new players on board (mostly directly or indirectly via Leads of this parish) we only went and beat Rangers 2-0, after they beat us 12-0 last season! And 2-0 flattered them too, could easily have been 3 or 4.

No match this weekend as both ourselves and Plym**th were short of players, but back in action next week (with all/most of the new players on board) against Brizzle City in the cup group.
