That irritating M and S Christmas ad with the Dawn French fairy which seems to have started bombarding our screens early this year. Bah humbug.

FRIGGING FIREWORKS 🎆 🎆

OK , I kind of get it. Let the little kiddiwigs have their fun over the (dreaded) Halloween and even the (arguably slightly more justified) Guy Fawkes night. And, even, the grown ups doing he same on NYE.

But when those mortar shells are still booming a good two days after the event (despite a gloomy, wet night) enough is enough! 😠 Especially since the whole, horrible thing was kicking off even early last week.

With a firework phobic dog a whole week of wannabe mortar shells firing over Exeter is more than enough. If you want to let off explosives take them, and your sad little families, off to Kyiv and aim them toward Moscow.

The highly remunerated KC who is representing Arconic trying to blame the residents' furnishings as being more to blame than their incendiary product. 😡🤬

And citing the "BBA Certification" as their core defence. Disclosure here! "NO Names, No Packdrill" but having on occasion over my working life, been deputed to "escort" the BBA Assessor on our (thankfully non-safety-critical) "performance inspections" of new products I can absolutely affirm how easy it is to "play the system".
1) A full internal set of visits to all recent installations to ensure the inspector is only pointed toward the very best performing sites.
2) Careful deflection and destruction away from any flaws -albeit minor.
3) A hearty (although definitely "NON LIQUID!") lunch during the visit also helps to grease the wheels of approval

I fluked it in 6. By fluke I only needed the letter G the other letters had to be in that order.
