This seem like such a good idea!

Wednesday marked Nyep in the Balinese Saka calendar. The usually buzzing island celebrated with 24 hours of peace and tranquillity where everything just stops. Flights stopped, shops closed, ATMs powered down. Following these rituals helps the Balinese start the year afresh and wards off any evil spirits.

They tried that here a couple of years back.
Called it "Lockdown".
Wasn't a total success.

Sound advice. In fact I'd suggest that after you die don't eat anything

I love those gaffes ! In the pre Internet age, newspapers had their "stop press" columns of late news snippets, which could be relied upon for the odd amusing errors. My all time favourite was from the Brighton Evening Argus which reported on an ammonia pipe exploding in a Taiwanese factory killing 419 people, 21 seriously !
