Ken Bates former Chelsea owner 😁

Reminded of this today on another forum. Bates was annoyed at a large pitch invasion at Stamford Bridge the previous month(March 1985) one of many during games over the previous decade, his solution to keep ‘oiks’ as he described them off the pitch was a electric fence.
The GLC who licensed the ground for the safety certificate refused to allow the fence to go live.

The Elvis Impersonating busker outside M & S Exeter today...Not seen one in drag before😎..He/She/They were excellent too.

Another busker outside of Boots was doing a fine job of sounding like Roger Whittaker as he sang his songs. Add to that a young lady in between the two, singing her own excellent sounding compositions. Bland as the High St is, it’s certainly got some musical talent on Saturday mornings.

That's got a serious case of left hand not knowing what the hand is doing...............

Good work au 👍

Offers special lessons in goalkeeping and in particular the importance of the near post

This made me chuckle, Especially considering the HT scores

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is investigating the outcome of two matches that produced an unbelievable total of 187 goals.

The two second-tier games saw Kenema-based Kahunla Rangers and Gulf FC of Kono heavily defeat their city rivals in Premier League qualifiers on Sunday.
Kahunla walloped Lumbebu United 95-0, and Gulf FC thrashed Koquima Lebanon 91-1, providing the two biggest victories recorded in the history of Sierra Leonean football.

However, the half-time scores were just 2-0 and 7-1 respectively, and both results have been annulled because of suspicion of match manipulation.
