Lincoln away was one of the fixtures I had near the top of my bucket list - been to the city before but not the ground, plus was the closest one for my old Uni mate and I to meet up.

So for it to come first up, slap bang in the middle of the Cricket season, had me cursing the computer screen. Ergo no clap from me.

Trains to Lincoln could be out of action due to industrial action.

Not yet. It's a long drive and I'm not a fan of coach trips

Given that it's right at the start of the traditional "school holiday season", and if the trains are stopped and planes grounded, I'd suggest setting off up the M5 the previous Monday*. With luck you might just make it there by half-time.
*And that's just the team!!!! Nice planning, EFL.

Anyone that has travelled with me in my car will know that I set off ridiculously early..No doubt a 0400 start that day.
