Thought he played ok on Saturday - looks like there is something there , reminded me of Lee Elam (don’t know why)
They're both called Lee.

Looked like the player I expected him to be last week. More of the same today, please!

Don't get to as many games as most on here, due to geography and work rota, but have seen enough in him from last Saturday and the cup match against Ipswich to think that he could be a very good player for us. Consistency will be the key of course.

There is a player there somewhere. We just haven't seen it yet. I thought he looked good in 1st half against Cheltenham but some people here thought he was poor.

Someone mentioned he joined the squad late and missed pre-season???

I thought he was disappointing against FGR (along with the whole side) but others here thought he did some things well. Thought his body language was poor. If it didn't fall for him he stopped chasing. If it did fall for him he just ran into people, lost possession and didn't track back.

FGR's body language was so much better than ours all over the pitch.
What a difference a few months make. Absolutely superb today. The best I've seen him play for us by far.

The whole team were superb but that was almost a complete performance from L Martin. So pleasing to see.

He just ran and ran all game. Never gave up on anything. Su-bleddy-perb

Yes he was superb today, he has clearly got a lot of ability, the great thing is he also has the work rate to go with it which is pretty rare. Same with Law.

His work rate is exceptional and he’s great at linking up with the likes of Law and Holmes. Now he’s settled in the area he’s starting to look like an excellent signing. I also like that he’s got a bit of an edge to him and is a bit cocky.

Arguably his best performance in a city shirt to date. Well done Lee.

He really does chase down lost causes.... Second keeper in a couple of weeks I've seen him get blocks on before they can clear. He'll get lucky with one soon

How much did Lee play in the middle this year? He said at the start of the season he prefers it/is more used to playing there. And again he mentioned it in an interview a few weeks ago about being "back out wide". As if it's not his favourite place to be. In interviews it seems like he'd rather not be there (despite how well he's played there).

I think since December he's been fantastic and his crossing with both feet has been superb but just wondered if Boateng goes whether he could play in the middle?
