Pretty rare to see a referee being gently guided away by players from a confrontation. He certainly lost it for a moment.
Shirley he should have given himself a red card. Simples.

Nowt wrong with the erratic Mr Kettle :)
I'm not sure erratic is a good trait in a referee!

You've seen them given although I'd just give a yellow and a warning to stop being a prat 🙂

I'm not sure erratic is a good trait in a referee!
It is when he gives us a penalty when our player has jumped for a ball and fallen over. :)

BTW: Trevor directs air traffic in his day job.

Wasn't there an even younger chap (18-19?) who bought Aldershot some years ago, only for it to transpire that he didn't have any wonga ? :cool:

The Chairman's father use to own Marseille, Not sure why his son's running things at Sunderland and not him, Unless the son has the dosh.
