For every £500K loss, teams should start the season minus one point. So Salford should start on minus 18. Then we would soon see a change in behaviours.
Like that idea

Tbh I would make it half a point per £100,000 loss that can't be proved is income from a previous season (for us watkins money as an example)

Yes, frankly I have been astonished that we haven't lost any league clubs during the pandemic. Its beginning to look like the crunch time is now coming, both for football and the economy generally, where those kept alive by emergency support/indulgences may have to face facts. Its those clubs propped up by owners whose businesses themselves have been pandemic damaged that are most likely to struggle.

Most EFL Clubs have used the furlough scheme for non playing staff last season.Even Sunderland who have a billionaire owner. That scheme is now unwinding.
I seem to recall the TV revenues were paid up front for this season(last October)there are going to be a few financial holes coming up.
One things for sure it will be a total disaster for EFL clubs if there are any restrictions on ground attendance at any point in the upcoming season.

Harry Anderson goes to the Gas, he would have been a great signing. They have two solid right wingers in him and Thomas.
