Probably a silly question, but why is the L1 season ending a week earlier than the rest?
It’s been a regular occurrence in recent seasons,it’s to do with the Sky TV contact I believe.
All the excitement of the last day of the EFL spread over 2 weekends.

don't blame everything on Sky :rolleyes: ... blame the Queen, Spring bank holiday pushed to Thursday of following weekend.

No it just means that the normal day for playing the final, Bank Holiday Monday, isnt happening, so they had to move one of them to the weekend before.

While it's frustrating that 2 wins in a row haven't moved us further up the table there is a bit of a gap starting to open up to the teams below. Unless we slump badly you'd think that only Salford and Crawley have a realistic chance of catching us.
