Remember when Vialli was down here in 1996 in a pre season friendly with Chelsea. He was a quality player. A game in which we won 2-1.
Not sure he played though.

He was defiantly there remember seeing him at the ground, honestly can't remember if he played.

As I recall he was introduced to the crowd before the game. So he definitely stepped onto the pitch.

A expensive lesson to all clubs.
The irony is that the FA did "Sweet FA" about male Stevenage stewards searching female Grimsby supporters bras for contraband inflatables about eighteen months ago. Wonder if they checked the female official over as well ?

Callum Evans and Scott Wilson depart Macclesfield Town. According to a post on a fan forum, these departures mean that two weeks ahead of the big kick-off they're down to 16 first team players, with no goalkeepers and two strikers.

I get the logic. Can't be in arrears of wages if you don't have any players.

Ooh. We may stand a chance, then.

Maybe we'll see Sol warming the bench!

Just had a gander at the Macclesfield squad on their website, they only have one keeper on their books.

So he does. Better than nothing, but a 20-year old with not a single senior minute to his name may not inspire much hope with the Macclesfield faithful. Not sure why he doesn't appear on the forum list, mind...

I know Stevenage has become something of a hate club for some...but after several visits to Broadhall way I’ve have always found the match day experience quite different to how it’s portrayed on here, friendly fans, friendly girls in the tea hut and never any problems with stewards insisting on where you sit.
