Club Statement on FA Misconduct Charge

Stevenage Football Club has received a £5,000 fine plus costs after being charged with misconduct for a breach of FA Rule E20, specifically in relation to its supporters using sexist chants towards a female match official during the Sky Bet League Two home match against Bury FC on Saturday 9th March

The irony is that the FA did "Sweet FA" about male Stevenage stewards searching female Grimsby supporters bras for contraband inflatables about eighteen months ago. Wonder if they checked the female official over as well ?

So he does. Better than nothing, but a 20-year old with not a single senior minute to his name may not inspire much hope with the Macclesfield faithful. Not sure why he doesn't appear on the forum list, mind...

I know Stevenage has become something of a hate club for some...but after several visits to Broadhall way I’ve have always found the match day experience quite different to how it’s portrayed on here, friendly fans, friendly girls in the tea hut and never any problems with stewards insisting on where you sit.
