Apparently only 737 Forest Green fans made the 30 mile trip to Bristol to see their side clinch promotion.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
How did rovers cut it down to that number? Our allocation from memory was 1000 odd or 1100 odd.

I think from the tv pictures they were given the seating behind the goal towards the away terrace so that would suggest they were only given part of the away standing. Would have thought rovers would have been required to give them both full areas.

having looked further it looks like they were possibly given seating only.

While already relegated they are still a L2 club.

That means sweet FA unless their crap owner is prepared to back him with the "wonga" as well (instead of paying wages late etc). No chance of any half decent manager wanting to go there anyway ? Player recruitment is also likely to be extremely difficult as well. !

Same budget as this season according to the statement they released earlier.

Big "puff piece" about the Oldham relegation on BBC Breakfast this morning.

There was a-weeping and a-wailing about the "first even relegation of a Premier League Club", filmed all the way from Salford Quays to Chadderton.
(Still, at least it was local - save a bit on expenses - and they did at least have the consideration not to mention that it was their very own Salford City who relegated them)

That budget didn't do them any good in L2 and if you look at the Conference it won't be a spectacular budget next season, There are some very strong former league clubs in it, It won't be easy getting back up at the first time of asking.
