I've just seen it's a four-year deal, that's interesting as it suggests this is a long-term appointment which, if so, makes a bit more sense. It will be interesting to see whether he does things differently (footballing wise) to Rotherham.
A four year deal doesn't mean anything tbh, Yes He'll get a good pay off if its terminated if results go badly but the fans will be seeing promotion this season or a play off place at the very least as an expectation, Anything else will be an utter failure in their eyes. Still good luck to the bloke.

Oh yeah, agree that the long-term deal doesn't mean he'll see it out; but they'd be mad* to have appointed him on a deal like that if those in charge didn't implicitly accept that he may not get them up this year.

* and we all know that all football club owners are sane/rational/not dodgy, etc.

Not all are dodgy but you can't be sane or rational to take on a football club. :)

15th will be the highest we finish in this attendance league. The top end is frightening, and just shows the gulf between top and bottom when it comes to gate receipts!

How do Accrington manage on those gates? Those top five are frightening too but then I suppose technically they should all be regular Championship teams. We really are little old Exeter compared to that lop.A top half league finish points wise will be a big achievement.

Does anyone know the cash amounts for where you finish in the league for L1?
