Fred,there is a shop in Burnthouse Lane that still makes them..Pop in on your way to Newquay 😎
I bought a couple there about 5 years ago . It was the only Dewdney's in Exeter.

Pasties have become pretty pricey these days, £4.50 - £6 seems to be the norm for a decent one.

Only 2 - 3 years ago I could buy a very decent one for £1.50 to £2.

That isn't just inflation !!!

Although the Burnthouse Lane shop is the Plymouth branch of the outfit.

After spending the last 5/10 minutes catching up on this thread I’ve become increasingly hungry, I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I Wasn’t a fan of shauls pasty’s myself so I would usually grab a pasty elsewhere or get a kenneford at sjp.

Yes...There was a sign in the window for a while that said the shop had nothing to do with Ivor Dewdneys in Sidwell St,which I believe became insolvent.
