Weird how people get so defensive about anything negative about the club. Clearly our options within the stand are not good enough, its very basic and even then leaving many disappointed when they sell out.

There are people at the club paid to think about these things, so just retorting ' well what would you do' at anyone who provides some constructive criticism isn't really valid. Links to the problems with merchandise, always seem two steps behind. Still not over us releasing bucket hats a few years ago, just as we moved into Autumn, or was it just in time for Christmas?

When every penny counts at a club like ours you'd expect us to be doing everything we can to maximise profits.
It's a consequence of having two stands built on the cheap just over 20 years ago when crowds of 4000 were still aspirational.

I’m really hoping we hear some news over the next couple of months about current player contract extensions.
Harry Lee, Alex Hartridge, Tom Carroll, Demetri Mitchell, Harry Kite and Kyle Taylor in particular.
I appreciate some of the above will probably play their cards close to their chests in this respect and I realize that most/all of them could get better deals (financially) elsewhere, but we’re a brilliant club to play for and be part of.
So, fingers crossed 🤞

WOW!!!

We were struggling to find a third international a few weeks ago in the hope that our match would be postponed, and who would have thought that we have potentially four full internationals in our squad. Congratulations to
Yanic, Vinnie and Vils and thanks for getting us some time so that we can hopefully face the Gas with a stronger squad for selection

I bet GC got all the lads to bring in their passports and got onto the relevant federations 😉

I’ve been travelling around quite a bit over the last few days so may have missed some posts on here about this, but I notice our upcoming match against Rovers has been postponed due to our international call ups.
That’s obviously well deserved for the players concerned and presumably if they do well may occur again over the season.
Currently it will give some our injured players more time to get back and also enable those we’ve perhaps been overusing to have a rest.
But let’s hope it doesn’t also present us with an issue further down the line.
Obviously these games will need to be rearranged so hopefully there won’t be any/many other weather related postponements as well otherwise we may get an awkward backlog of fixtures in the second half of the season to contend with.
The perils and pitfalls of having a squad studded with internationals I suppose 🙂

Maybe GC has engineered this to give our thin squad breaks !
