I’m probably the only one who’s not excited. Scored 15 in 63 games for notts, that’s not selling it to me
That's about average for a striker, only the best get more than 1 goal every 4 games consistently; according to Soccerbase he only started 41 of his 65 league games for Notts, so his rate per 90 minutes looks better. 18 from 60 league games (53 starts) for Oldham before joining Notts.

Someone with a lot of pace to play alongside Stockley sounds good to me. If they play a high line it suits Forte, a deep one Stockley.

Scored a perfect hat trick in 2012 against Charlton, Matt Taylor in defence and Hamer in goal for Charlton.
I did wonder if Taylor played in that game. Must have stuck in his memory!

2016/17 - 8 league goals from 28 starts, 7 sub
2017/18 - 8 league goals from 15 starts, 17 sub

His record in League 1 is pretty decent as well, think it's a good signing

Probably because it's because it's a bit of reality that slipped beneath the bandwidth of your usual "crystal bull"?

Never mind, bovine chum. Two choices in the meadow for you tonight eh? Sour grapes AND bitter lemons to suck on eh.

Not the only one.
What were your thoughts when we signed Simpson and Brunt ?

As a striker Forte is far more exciting as a striker than many of those Tisdale signed.

Forte is the first striker Taylor has signed, I'm impressed.

I'm excited to see who else Taylor has up his sleeve.

I'd place him as being a more experienced version of Kyle Edwards. Looking forward to seeing him in a City shirt.

I see your point however Edwards is a wide man, Forte is an out and out striker.

For the record I'd be delighted if we sign Edwards on loan again.

Forte was in the past more of a winger but converted to a more central role.
