re-signing him could also prove to be a good investment both strengthening the team and if his form continues also encourage other Clubs to put in decent offers for him.We love JB
Just need to pray the legals are done and dusted in July. Failing that, we will no doubt cut our ties.re-signing him could also prove to be a good investment both strengthening the team and if his form continues also encourage other Clubs to put in decent offers for him.
We've already cut the ties by releasing him. no reason why we can't resign him later than july if we and he want that is there?Just need to pray the legals are done and dusted in July. Failing that, we will no doubt cut our ties.

Well there is. A contract offer has a cost. How long do you wait for the legals to conclude, whilst holding onto the money for the contract. I bet GC would want to move quickly for other targets if there is an undetermined hiatus. We've already cut the ties by releasing him. no reason why we can't resign him later than july if we and he want that is there?
We normally congratulate them on refusing to play and being a good professional role model by offering them a coaching roleTrue but when you have a player who does not want to play for you there is a real problem
I don’t think “normally“ is the correct word to use.We normally congratulate them on refusing to play and being a good professional role model by offering them a coaching role![]()
I would imagine either party are free to withdraw from contract negotiations at any time. For example, we have a purse for Jevani and are keeping it set aside to see what happens. In the meantime Jevani Mk2 becomes available so we say to Jevani Mk1 sorry old chum, but we've signed Jevani Mk2 so the offer's no longer there, good luck at your next club.Well there is.
