I'm sorry, but this is quite simply not how it works. This is a ludicrous suggestion.

1) Deal was done pretty much at 11pm with Jay still in London
2) Jay has to travel from London
3) Jay has to go to the TG, do a medical, meet the team, sign paperwork and train
4) Jay has to get to the stadium
5) Photos and interview need to be done
6) Time has to be agreed with Fulham
7) Everything has to be typed up and sent to the press
8) Scott has to make videos

To suggest anyone in the media team is trying to be funny or clever over such a sensitive signing is simply not true. There are so many things that have to be checked off before any signing can be announced, there is never any conspiracy over anything like this.
