We are the only club where he has scored goals - bit like Doyle at Swindon, doesn't seem able to be as prolific elsewhere

Oh that it is true, could be proper Roy of the Rovers stuff, comes back 12 months later and his goals fire us to the winning the league and trophy too ! Given that it would only be 13 weeks we could afford even to pay 100% of his wages. I would hope that the terms of any deal would preclude a recall in that period ! We don't have long to wait for the answer, so in the meantime we can enjoy the dream ! Lol !

The Twitter account has been very quiet today. Must be working on something else 🤔

For a less romantic version of the story... He's good at this level, but can't do it higher up the pyramid. Fancy him to score goals if he went to Northampton or similar

There's a younger Randell Williams. Name of Elliott. The 20 year old Williams has just signed for Barnstaple.

As much as I rated Stockley, I prefer the way we play without him in the team. Not in terms of how easy on the eye we are without him, but more how we are too one dimensional with him and therefore easier for the opposition to stop. Basically with Stockley in the team if the opposition can stop the crosses we're not scoring. Without him we have more openings in our play.

Saying all that, MT may now just be a more experienced manager and has worked out a plan b and c.
