“Jake Taylor is someone we have admired for a very long time. Is that (a player we have admired" just the most over used cliche in football management?

I agree.

Plus their gaffer has only been in management 5 minutes. :D

To be fair he has beaten the two minutes that Teddy Sherringham lasted at Stevenage :)

It's just a load of nonsense, giving the impression this was all a long term plan from Stevenage. Basically Taylor became available, the manager watched some highlights and heard some good things about him and knew he wanted to live in the area so they offered him a contract. All this ball sheet making out anything else is purely for the fans benefit.

Ascot to Stevenage is over an hour and that doesn't include traffic !!
Ascot to Stevenage, if you do it in under 2 hours your doing well. I'm not far from Stevenage and i've taken 4 hours to get to Windsor. not that much difference in distance. Stevenage No Thanks, but some nice areas around though.

In that aspect though.
The fans, board and players were all massively confused by the ball being on the ground and not going in for leg breaking tackles every 2 minutes.

Probably offered him decent money and or a 3yr deal. Good luck to him but not really challenging himself football wise as he said he would
