Would have thought you'd be better getting the train in today, Bridgy. Parking is a nightmare and I don't fancy leaving Ipswich with 30,000 others.

Thanks for the tip but driving in worked out fine.
I research where to park in advance on Parkopedia.
I never park too close to the stadium for the reasons you say.
Today we were in the marina area, handy for both the football and the town (as my wife went in there).
We arrived around midday and left about six-ish.
That cost £3.50 and would have covered us until midnight if we’d fancied a night on the town celebrating with Ipswich supporters.
Which we didn’t.
