Ah,good point! I'd forgotten that for international purposes the age cut off is the end of the calendar year, not the school year.

So Harry -still 16 until December -won't be eligible for the U17 tournament taking place later in the season/next year. This similarly affected Ollie Watkins born even later in a December, meaning that when he was - at a much older age than Harry's currently 16 - a few days too old to break into an England set up.
