Loving the free flowing entertaining football at S
Fact 1. I taught young Guy in Leicester.
Fact 2. Nice lad but not the brightest button in the box.
Conclusion. Not a bit surprised he is talking complete bollix.
Fact 3. Did you help with his spelling ?

I didn't think one needed to be bright when wielding the tri square, sliding bevel and tenon saw Geoffrey.

That's a relief Alistair, I believe I'm only one of a handful of people in the country who have failed O level woodwork.

I hope our Geoff was not mentoring you Contra. I think in any case he was more into the design side rather than mixing fish glue up to his armpits in sawdust.

I didn't have that pleasure credy and doubtless many will say good job too. I've always been surprised by my spelling of suprise. ! Well spotted you spelling bee. I did however show him how to cut a mean mortise and tenon, but as Al points out you don't have to be a bright spark to wield the kit but always found it did help when actually using it correctly and accurately.

Pulling someone up on "there" spelling, genuinely surprised.
