Mental health awareness week going well on Exeweb I see. Global pandemic, stuck away from your family, apparently no reason for anyone to be a bit down obviously.

Hope no-one here is going to be manning Samaritans helplines, with their "man-up and get on with it you are a 24 year old man" material.
As I said, even without covid millions of people around the world are separated from their families for various reasons, usually work.
You have no evidence at all that Randell suffered from home sickness so badly that it affected his life. If it did, the club would have helped him out.
The fact is that he performed well during the covid period until the time he got injured and then his transfer fell through.
Your implication and accusation that I don't care about people who have problems is untrue : you don't know me or my life.

Wish him luck, but on the evidence of last season, not that bothered, if he'd been at 80% of his first season, reckon we'd be in division 3 now.

Hopefully frees up a big wage, along with Parkes, Taylor, and Ollies war-chest we should be offering more money for 4 or 5 quality players than almost any team in the division, and perhaps many in Division 3.
So no concern about Randell on this post, right? You're not bothered about him but hope his leaving will free up a big wage.
Rather than lecture others better you focus on not being a hypocrite.

I used to watch TAH walking around SJP with 21 others looking bored to tears!

Do you have proof that Randell was suffering from homesickness?
You'd only laugh if he did.

Unusual for you to jump on a bandwagon, Iscalad. That is a disgraceful thing to say. Cowardly and untrue.
I imagine you would never be brave enough to say that to my face..

Shame this thread has been rather derailed.

Probably time for a change for Club and player, but he was an exciting player on his day and gave us some really great moments, not the least of which was the image that Gargoyle supporters will have etched in their minds for years to come!
Good luck to Randell in the future.

Agreed. Maybe he will be better for a new challenge and playing at higher level.

And personally I'd hope we sign another specialist right back and Key plays further forward next season, as I do worry about his defensive positioning and think he's better as an attacking midfielder.

Perhaps Randy really struggled with the barber shops closing, taking an inch off his ponytail can make or break his final ball. Poor old Randy.
Always thought there was a resemblance to Capt Jack Sparrow.

I was going to paste up a couple of piccies to back my case but cba.

You laughed when I told you bKevin Nicholson told us our Academy is the 10th best in the country. I'd like to know why that was funny?

You kind of miss me wishing him luck. Not that bothered for Exeter City on his performances, which is fairly self-evident in the post. I have no idea what he suffered from, but it's certainaly a possibility that he's not mentally right, I have no idea what you suffer from either, other than a burning wish to have the last word, on bloody everything. Am I a Hypocrite, only in the same way almost everyone else is...
