I guess although Morecambe know what Jokull is like, the new manager doesn't and wants a look before committing to a loan. Whatever is happening (or not) behind the scenes with City, the ball is really in Reading's court.

I liked Jokull, he was a good goalkeeper and a good character, but he's not the only good goalkeeper out there.

With Kyle Letheran having signed a new contract in June, it could see Jokull spending a season on the bench and that would be funny! Can't see Letheren being happy on the bench.
